Homelessness and housing instability are social determinants that can have a profound impact on health. As part of its social determinants of health series, the Health Research & Educational Trust (HRET), part of the American Hospital Association (AHA), explored the impact of housing on health. Its new housing guide, found here, provides recommendations and case studies for how providers can address housing instability issues in their communities.
AHA will be presenting a webinar based on information contained in the guide as well as spotlighting two AHA members actively working on housing issues.
