Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is accepting public comments on the development of quality measures for the Improving Medicare Post-Acute Care Transformation Act of 2014 (IMPACT Act). The IMPACT Act mandates the accurate communication about the existence of and the transfer of information and preferences of an individual to the individual, family caregiver and providers of services.
Specifically, CMS is seeking input on two potential measures: “Medication Profile Transferred to Provider” and “Medication Profile Transfer to Patient.” Visit the CMS public comment page for more information.
