Living the Quality Journey, Lessons Learned from the 2021 AHA Quest for Quality Winner

This webinar will highlight how Yale New Haven Health, the 2021 AHA Quest for Quality prize winner, uses innovative strategies to address social determinants of health, drive and sustain quality improvements and engage employees in quality improvement efforts. Participants will learn about several of Yale New Haven Health’s initiatives and quality pursuits that earned the system the Quest for Quality prize, including its commitment to and use of data to drive improvement across all hospitals within its system. Additional highlights will showcase how staff across the system are encouraged to be quality champions, participating in quality improvement efforts and helping to shape a culture of quality and innovation. Yale New Haven Health’s response to COVID also will be featured, including its use of data to focus its vaccination efforts to best meet the needs of its diverse patient population. The webinar will also explore strategies for leading organizational change, improving teamwork across a hospital or health system, and developing partnerships with patients and families and community groups.
