The Unified Judicial System, in conjunction with several partner organizations, will be hosting a statewide conference about mental health crisis intervention. The purpose of the conference is to help communities develop a local action plan for a regional approach for mental health crisis response through the identification of existing resources, determining how to incorporate future resources, and increasing local communication and collaboration. The intended audience includes a variety of stakeholders, such as law enforcement, community mental health centers, mental health providers, county officials, Board of Mental Illness chairs, and state legislators.
The conference is scheduled for August 18 and 19 at Arrowwood Resort in Oacoma. Registration for this conference is free, but previous registration is required.
