Veterans and their families need the same things that non-Veterans and their families need when a loss is experienced: comfort, sympathy, emotional support of friends and family, knowledge, coping skills, time, and healing. But the military culture creates special grief needs as well. Join WHV on Wednesday, November 6 at 2PM ET as we welcome Opus Peace founder, Deborah Grassman NP and Opus Peace Executive Director, Angie Snyder MSN, MHA for a presentation that highlights the special circumstances surrounding grief and the military that you may not know about. Opus Peace is the only non-profit educational organization that specializes in identifying and addressing Soul Injury – a wound that disconnects people from their real self. Come prepared with clinical questions to ask these Veteran bereavement experts.
