Avera Health will be hosting an ethics conference on mental health and suicide prevention on Friday, Oct. 28.
The full-day conference will provide timely and relevant information about the current state of mental health care in the U.S., the ongoing stigma of mental illness, emerging treatment modalities and legislative efforts at state and national levels.
It’s planned for 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn in Sioux Falls. The cost is $65 for Avera employees or $75 for non-Avera participants.
