Regional Health has broken ground on a new $10.2 million clinic in Sturgis.
The Sturgis Regional Medical Clinic, being built on the Sturgis Regional Hospital campus, will add more than 20,000 square feet to the existing facility and replace some 8,000 square feet of existing specialty clinic space. The existing clinic at 890 Lazelle St. is a mile away from the hospital.
The project will also add a new front entrance to the hospital and Emergency Department and increase the number of parking spaces.
Construction is expected to begin next spring and be completed in early 2018.
