The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has extended the comment period for its advance notice of proposed rulemaking on potential revisions to the skilled nursing facility payment system.
The original comment deadline for “Medicare Program; Prospective Payment System and Consolidated Billing for Skilled Nursing Facilities: Revisions to Case-mix Methodology” was June 26. CMS has now extended it through Aug. 25.
Commenters are asked to refer to file code CMS-1686-ANPRM when submitting.
