Legislative forums were held this week in Vermillion, Sioux Falls and Rapid City. Next week’s forum schedule includes Mitchell on Dec. 20 and Parkston on Dec. 21, with the last two forums of this year on Dec. 28 in Huron and Aberdeen.
Attendance and discussions at the forums have been strong. Legislators and health care leaders welcome the opportunity to come together to discuss state and federal health care issues and the state’s fiscal outlook for 2018. The forums provide a great opportunity to dialog about the important issues impacting health care in preparation for the upcoming 93rd Session of the South Dakota Legislature.
