Public Policy Council adds more bills to tracking list

The South Dakota Association of Healthcare Organizations (SDAHO) Council on Public Policy now has 22 health care-related bills they are keeping a watchful eye on during the 93rd Session of the South Dakota Legislature.

Of the 22 bills, the Council has voted to support seven, monitor 13 and take no position on two. No bills are being opposed at this time.

The SDAHO advocacy team of Kim Gillan, Scott Duke and Gil Johnson continue to work closely with the systems advocacy group including: Corey Brown, Sanford Health; Mike Diedrich, Regional Health; Deb Fischer Clemens, Avera Health; and their respective contract lobbyists.
