The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) just announced it has extended the expiration dates on some IV solutions manufactured by Baxter Healthcare Corporation. This decision coincides with the ongoing critical shortages that are impacting health care facilities in South Dakota and across the country.
The extended expiration dates allow certain IV solutions, with specific product codes, additional shelf life of 21 days to 5 months.
