Tammy Hatting has been selected to join the South Dakota Association of Healthcare Organizations’ (SDAHO) leadership team as Director, Post-Acute Care. She will begin work in April.
As the Director, Post-Acute Care, Hatting will be responsible for advocacy, public policy, regulations, compliance and member relations in the areas of long term care, home care and other post-acute care services. She has more than 16 years of health care leadership experience and most recently served as the eCare Innovation Director with Avera Health. In addition to major telehealth and mHealth projects, she successfully led the development and implementation of Avera’s long term care telehealth services.
In addition to her experience with Avera, Hatting has a rich background and knowledge working in various health care roles including quality and innovation, grant writing, lean process improvement facilitation, hospital preparedness and EMR initiatives. She is a National Rural Health Association (NRHA) Fellow.
