The application deadline for the South Dakota Association of Healthcare Organization’s second annual Quality Excellence Awards has been extended to Aug. 24.
The Quality Excellence Awards recognize outstanding achievements, innovation and effective quality improvement and patient safety projects. There are three categories based on the type of facility: small/critical access hospital, large/PPS hospital and post-acute care facility. One award will be presented in each category to a health care facility demonstrating successful implementation strategies that have produced performance improvement in AIM areas.
