At this year’s LeadingAge Annual Meeting & Expo, through the initiative of Words from the Wise, LeadingAge and PS Lifestyle will recognize outstanding people who have had a significant impact on their communities after the age of 65. People who qualify for recognition may have contributed to different fields such as the arts, literature, community service, volunteering, education, environment, fitness and humanitarian activities.
Three adults will be selected and interviewed live in Philadelphia on the Words from the Wise stage inside the Expo. The three individuals selected will receive free registration, hotel accommodations and a travel stipend to attend. Seven additional people will be selected to be featured on the public Ageism exhibit located in a high traffic area of Philadelphia along with the three interviewees.
The nomination deadline is Aug. 30. Selections will be announced Sept. 21. Click here to make a nomination.
