SD organization receives $100K grant to help consumers enroll in health coverage

The Western South Dakota Community Action Partnership earlier this week was awarded a $100,000 grant from the Centers of Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to help consumers shop for and enroll in health insurance in 2019. CSM awarded a total of $10 million in grants to 39 organizations across the U.S.

Grant recipients will partner with public and private organizations in their communities to provide targeted outreach to consumers who could benefit from individual market coverage, coordinating with local Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program outreach.
