The South Dakota Association of Healthcare Organizations (SDAHO) is offering a free webinar and continuing education unit (CEU) to members on Oct. 15 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. CDT titled “Toward Better Behavior – Yours, Mine, and Everyone Else’s.” The webinar will be hosted by Barbara Speedling from Innovations for QualityLiving.
The webinar, hosted by Barbara Speedling from Innovations for Quality Living, will help participants:
- Understand the concept of culture change and the expectations of regulators and consumers with regard to applying these principles.
- Develop a keener insight into human behavior and be able to apply that knowledge in creating an environment in which everyone thrives.
- Create person-centered, innovative interventions as alternatives to pharmacologic remedies in response to the behavioral health needs of residents with dementia.
