The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services made change request revisions to the swing-bed manual that clarify policies related to hospitals and critical access hospitals (CAHs) with respect to services furnished to swing-bed patients, as well as policies related to pass-through reimbursement for certified registered nurse anesthetist services. Â The changes will become effective April 1, 2019.
