New Administrator for Bethesda Home of Aberdeen

Bruce Johnson, the 26-year administrator at the Bethesda Home of Aberdeen, has handed the baton over to Scott Eisenbeisz where Scott did his internship 23 years ago.

Bruce said he is excited about new life priorities but feeling sadness of retiring from this career after 43 years. Bruce stated: “ I wish to express my appreciation for work of SDAHO as a partner to help us provide quality care to our seniors in our community. I will miss the fellowship with the membership of SDAHO, and may you and your organization thrive. Change will continue and serve your organization BOLDLY!  Thank you, Bruce A. Johnson”

Scott Eisenbeisz has a Bachelor’s of Science in Health Administration from the University of South Dakota and a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Sioux Falls.  Scott has over 21 years of healthcare experience, which includes long-term care, cost report preparation, corporate compliance, and clinic operations.

Scott is married and his wife Andrea is the owner and Funeral Director of Paetznick-Garness Funeral Chapel.  Scott also has an almost 8-year-old stepson Nolan.  During their free time they like to travel and spending time at their pool.

Scott is excited to take over the reins of Bethesda. He looks forward to continuing the mission of Bethesda and furthering development of the Adult Day Program and in-home community services, along with the operations of the Skilled Nursing Home, Assisted Living, Independent Living and Child Day Care.
