MDS Nurse, Coders and Directors of Nursing Encouraged to Attend ICD-10/PDPM training on June 11th

On June 11th at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Sioux Falls, SD, Colleen Toebe from Pathway Health will be conducting a 1-day training course on ICD-10 coding and adapting to the new Patient Driven Payment Model (PDPM). Anyone responsible for identifying the primary admission diagnosis, coders and non-contract rehab employees will benefit from this training. The MDS nurse, anyone covering for the MDS nurse, Director of Nursing, coding and billing personnel will walk away with an action plan and preparation for the next steps in transitioning to PDPM. The initial diagnosis will impact every single element in this new payment model, so consider this $175 training an investment for your facility. Participants will be asked to bring their coding book to the training. Lunch will be provided.
