LeadingAge is helping members prepare for the Patient-Driven Payment Model (PDPM) by developing several tools and webinars. A webinar that was recorded in June 2019 provides an in-depth look at how clinical delivery of care from nursing and therapy might change as a result of the new patient-driven payment model. In the absence of Resource Utilization Groups (RUGs) and minute thresholds, clinicians at all levels of the organization will need to utilize evidence-based interventions and critical thinking in order to provide the best possible care for patients.
