Nursing Home Compare rates nursing homes across four measurable dimensions: health inspections, quality measures, staffing and overall rating. The website allows consumers to compare quality of care information on every Medicare and Medicaid-certified nursing home in the country. It provides residents and their families the ability to make informed decisions on where to seek care. Star ratings are based on a one to five star scale, with more stars indicating better quality.
The Neighborhoods first earned the overall 5-star rating from Nursing Home Compare in 2013. It has maintained a perfect 5-star rating across all measureable dimensions since 2017.
