Congratulations to Pam MSN, RN, CN Emergency Department Trauma Manager from Sanford Aberdeen Medical Center for being named a 2019 Community Star by the National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health!

In emergencies, especially in rural communities like Aberdeen, seconds can mean the difference between life and death. Pam works tirelessly to ensure that these seconds are life-saving ones. Pam has spearheaded the Stop the Bleed Program in various rural communities in South Dakota, facilitating more than 80 classes and reaching more than 2,000 eager learners.
