Outstanding One-Time Healthcare Funding Bills

HB 1090 make an appropriation to evaluate the feasibility of the use of telehealth services within the criminal justice system and to declare an emergency. This bill is on the Senate Floor pending passage.

SB 16 make an appropriation to reimburse certain health care professionals who have complied with the requirements for certain health care recruitment assistance programs and to declare an emergency. This funding bill is included in the Governor’s proposed budget. Speaker re-assigned back to House Appropriations Committee.

SB 40 authorize the Board of Regents to contract for the construction of an Allied Health Facility and the demolition of Julian Hall and the Julian Hall Addition to the University of South Dakota, to make an appropriation therefor, and to declare an emergency. SB40 is scheduled to be heard in Joint Appropriations Committee on Monday, March 2, in the Morning.
