South Dakota Falls Prevention Coalition

The South Dakota Falls Prevention Coalition (SDFPC) was formed to cultivate collaboration between state, community, and health care systems to reduce falls by increasing knowledge and implementing evidence-based fall prevention solutions for older adults. The Coalition will be participating in the Upper Midwest Agriculture Safety and Health Center (UMASH) Online Expo: A 20/20 Look at Ag Health, Safety and Wellness Aug. 11-13, 2020.

This free online event has 40 plus area organizations and programs participating. Attendees can drop in and visit virtual exhibitor booths, watch live safety demos, and participate in talks on a range of farm safety and health issues. There are activities for the whole family, including Jeopardy for kids and a webinar on cultivating resiliency for women in agriculture.
