On August 25 at 11am, Michael Deters, MD, will speak on the forgotten element of palliative care – the caregiver.Ā Dr. Deters will explore the lives of caregivers and how to help them cope with the sometimes very difficult journey of being in this role.Ā This will include the impact on both physical, emotional and relationship burdens associated with being the primary caregiver.
On August 27, Annette Lee is back to discuss Home Health and resumption of surveys.Ā Annette will equip participants with tools and resources to ensure you can avoid risks and ensure safe care to your patients, as well as pass your survey with flying colors!
During a separate session on August 27, Annette Lee will talk hospice and how to adapt to changes in care delivery – specifically including barriers to seeing patients in person and waivers with rules and regulations.Ā She will also discuss Hospice Payment Rule for 2021.
