Register Today: Understanding Behaviors as Forms of Communication

The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America is hosting a workshop called Understanding Behaviors as Forms of Communication on March 17 at noon CST. This workshop is will cover the signs and symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease and take a deeper look into the behaviors those living with Alzheimer’s display. The goal is to recognize these behaviors as attempts to fulfill an unmet need – to help others search past the behaviors and discover what the individual is trying to communicate. This approach will help professionals, caregivers and family members learn to separate the individual from the disease to then provide support and identify the unique needs of each person affected by Alzheimer’s disease.

The fee for this workshop is $25 and prior registration is required. For more information or to register, click here.
