On behalf of the SDAHO team, thank you to everyone who participated in the 2021 SDAHO Rural Health Leaders Conference this year, held in Pierre June 9-10. This was the first SDAHO in-person event post COVID-19 and we are thankful for those who made the trip to learn in person from our panel of experts. For those who could not attend, SDAHO provided a live web-stream of both days. The stream was also recorded and archived on the SDAHO Rural Health Leaders portal. Access to the recordings and handouts are available on the portal to those who registered.
We know rural health is complex, diverse, and ever-changing. SDAHO was able to bring experts from South Dakota and across the country to present at this year’s conference. This two-day event allowed rural health care leaders to explore innovative solutions, look at new models and programs specifically available for South Dakota Health care entities.
Here is a recap of this year’s conference.
Mark your calendar for SDAHO’s 95th Annual Convention, September 22-24 in Sioux Falls, Denny Sanford Premier Center. Registration opens in early August!
