The South Dakota Association of Healthcare Organizations (SDAHO) tracks legislator actions on legislation relative to the position taken by the SDAHO Policy Council. SDAHO has compiled a 2021 legislator score card, using several key pieces of legislation including HB 1046, HB 1061, HB 1077, HB 1093, HB 1097, HB 1136, HB 1154, HB 1159, HB 1220, HB 1247, SB 3, SB 20, SB 34, SB 96, SB 144, SB 167, and SB 186. The scorecard tallies legislator actions on bills relative to SDAHO’s position, separating legislators into three categories. Healthcare champions are listed in green and were most supportive of policy positions held by SDAHO during the 2021 legislative session. Legislators listed in red were least supportive of policy positions held by SDAHO.
