South Dakotans Decide Healthcare Push for Medicaid Expansion

On Monday Nov. 8, 2021, South Dakotans Decide Healthcare filed paperwork with the South Dakota Secretary of State to place Medicaid Expansion on the November 2022 ballot. This will allow South Dakota voters to decide the issue next fall. South Dakotans Decide Healthcare is a broad coalition of patient advocates, nurses, healthcare providers, farmers, faith leaders, educators and more. SDAHO is one among many organizations involved with the coalition.
