SDAHO Recognizes Cynthia Premus for Hometown Healthcare Heroes Spotlight

To help member facilities with workforce needs, SDAHO has launched the Hometown Healthcare Heroes campaign. The campaign is designed to recognize and celebrate member facilities, the people that work there and the communities they live in. Each month SDAHO will highlight a member facility and the job opportunities at that facility. In addition, community members share insight on the business environment, housing options, details about the school system, and some of the amenities within the town and surrounding area.

Cynthia Premus is a business owner, chamber of commerce board member and resident of Webster, South Dakota. Cynthia is a California native, but her husband was born and raised in Webster. In 2008 Cynthia and her family decided to move from California to Webster and she says it is one of the best decisions she ever made. “Grow South Dakota and the Development Corporation helped us with our business loans, which was great. My business is just thriving.” Webster has much to offer families of all ages, including a vibrant business community, year long out-door recreational opportunities, a thriving school system and more. Cynthia shares her thoughts on the community’s robust growth but also recognizes the workforce needs within the healthcare community in Webster. “There is so much to do in Webster with so many jobs and opportunity, we even have a hospital, and they have openings, they are looking for people to work and it would be great place to be.”
