New Palliative Care Education Series Available

A new local Palliative Care Education Series is available to access anytime for healthcare professionals for free from Avera Continuing Education. The introductory session on “What is Palliative Care” was created in the fall of 2021. An additional five sessions were recently added: Basic Ethical Principles; Physical Aspects of Palliative Care; Advanced Care Planning; Social Aspects of Palliative Care, and one on Goals of Care Conversations.
