Each of us makes the major decision of what career to enter very early in life. We then spend the next 30 to 40 years living out that legacy. Participants will revisit initial reasons for entering their careers, discuss how that ‘fit’ feels today, analyze their energy balance of expenditure and recovery, and complete an assessment on compassion fatigue. Swing Beds can be a financial lifeline for Critical Access Hospitals. CMS completely rewrote all the swing bed regulations with updates in late 2019. The regulations are in one manual – Appendix W for Critical Access Hospitals – and the interpretive guidelines and survey procedures are in another manual – Appendix PP for Long Term Care. There is no crosswalk, so this webinar was created to assist CAHs in deciphering the mystery.
