March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month

Did you know screening for colorectal cancer starts at age 45 and even earlier if you have risk factors?  In the United States, of cancers that affect both men and women, colorectal cancer is the second leading cancer causing death. Many times colorectal polyps and colorectal cancer do not cause any symptoms. However, through early and regular screenings, colorectal cancer can be detected and treated.
