SDAHO’s Tammy Hatting Selected to NRHA Rural Health Congress

The South Dakota Association of Healthcare Organizations (SDAHO) is excited to announce that SDAHO COO, Tammy Hatting has been selected to be part of the Rural Health Congress as a Representative for the National Rural Health Association (NRHA). The Rural Health Congress is the policy-making body of NRHA. Elected representatives from each of the association’s constituency groups, State Association Council, State Office Council, issue groups and officers serve on the Congress. This gives broad grassroots representation that reflects the concerns of NRHA’s membership. The Rural Health Congress determines the association’s positions on public policy through a series of policy briefs and issue papers.

Hatting joined the SDAHO leadership team in 2018, with more than 16 years of health care leadership experience. In addition, Hatting has a rich background and knowledge working in various healthcare roles including quality and innovation, grant writing, lean process improvement facilitation, hospital preparedness and EMR initiatives. Tammy has also served as an NRHA Fellow. Her latest role as an NRHA Representative will provide SDAHO members a bigger voice and representation when it comes to the development of rural health care policy.

Join us in congratulating Tammy Hatting on being selected as a Representative to NRHA Rural Health Congress.
