Ready For a New Healthcare Career? Learn More about Opportunities in Wessington Springs with Avera Health

To help member facilities with workforce needs, SDAHO has launched the Hometown Healthcare Heroes campaign. The campaign is designed to recognize and celebrate member facilities, the people that work there and the communities they live in, while recognizing and promoting job opportunities within member facilities. This month, SDAHO celebrates Avera Weskota Memorial Hospital and Weskota Manor in Wessington Springs.

What is unique about a small critical access hospital like Avera Weskota Memorial? Nurses have the opportunity to work in all departments that are offered, which could include the medical surgical unit, emergency room or out-patient departments.

Avera offers a student loan reimbursement program for up to $10,000 dollars for the course of five years, for those who qualify. There are openings for both nurses and certified nursing assistants (CNA) at both Weskota Memorial Hospital and Weskota Manor. To apply, visit WWW.AVERA.ORG/CAREERS/.
