The South Dakota Association of Healthcare Organizations (SDAHO) recently welcomed Kari Carlson to the team, as Office Assistant. Klari has an administrative role assisting the SDAHO leadership staff, in addition to the entire SDAHO team by advancing healthy communities through a unified voice across the healthcare continuum.
Klari comes to SDAHO with a variety of skill sets and experiences. Her most recent role was with the Goodwill of the Great Plains, as a job center representative. There she was involved with helping those who had no internet access, with computer skills, fill out job application, write resumes and assisted with job recruitment skills.
Klari is originally from Rapid City, where she was born and raised. Today she and her husband live outside of Hartford. They have two-grown children, two grandchildren with another due later this summer. In her free time Klari enjoys spending time with family, camping, kayaking, and baking.
