Hometown Healthcare Hero: Monument Health Custer Hospital Job Opportunities and More

Monument Health Custer Hospital and Clinic is the member facility featured in the South Dakota Association of Healthcare Organizations, Hometown Healthcare hero campaign for the month of October. To help member facilities with workforce needs, SDAHO launched this storytelling campaign designed to recognize career opportunities and celebrate the people that work there and the communities they live.

Monument Health Custer Hospital is a critical access hospital that also offers 24-hour emergency services. Included is inpatient and outpatient care options, a clinic, hospice and assisted living facility. Monument Health Custer Hospital and Clinic has 66 nursing and nurse aide caregivers, 12 inpatient beds, 5 emergency department beds, 3 infusing rooms and 6 physicians. Sarah Blenner is the Director of Talent Resourcing for Monument Health, says western South Dakota is a great lifestyle and it’s a great place to raise a family. “Working within the Monument Health System of care we have an excellent culture.
