He is the host of the popular Boss Better Now podcast and has appeared in multiple media outlets for expert commentary including Forbes, Fortune, ABC, and the International Business Times. Prior to launching his own firm, Joe managed training at a Top 10 U.S. healthcare system.
Joe previously served as head of Learning & Development for Physician Services at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), where he directed learning strategy and implementation for one of the largest physician groups in the U.S.: over 9,000 employees across 500+ locations. Prior to his years of service in healthcare, Joe spent a decade working in leadership and program development roles in student affairs in higher education. Joe holds a Master’s degree from Ohio University and serves on the board of directors of the National Speaker’s Association.
