Hospice Foundation of America Education Series

SDAHO has purchased the 2023-2024 Hospice Foundation of America webinar series exclusively for SDAHO members at no cost. Each month, national experts have presented on topics such as autism and grief, communication with patients and families, cultural competency and more. This yearā€™s topics include ethics, grief, and resilience.

The next LIVE webinar is ā€œDignity Therapy: Honoring a Patientā€™s Life Story and Legacyā€ which will be on Tuesday February 13 from 11:00-12:30 CST/10:00-11:30 MT. Presenters include Susan Bluck, PhD and Harvey Max Chochinov, MD, PhD, FRCPC who will discuss their clinical and research work focused on Dignity Therapy (DT). DT allows patients to tell their stories of communion with others, provides the opportunity to make meaning of challenging events and may evoke a sense of purpose.

Registration is limited to the first 50 SDAHO members so register early here!
