Gov. Noem Signs Compact Bills into Law

Governor Kristi Noem’s office reported on February 5 the passage of two Compact Bills into law. Both Bills SDAHO publicly supported and testified as a proponent. Below is the original press release from the Governor’s office:

Governor Kristi Noem signed two compact bills into law. HB 1013 adopts the advanced practice registered nurse compact. And HB 1015 adopts the social work licensure compact.

“South Dakota’s economy is continuing to thrive, and these bills will help us continue to grow our workforce,” said Governor Noem. “These compacts cut government red tape and make it easier for more folks to get to work right here in South Dakota.”

Governor Noem has signed 6 bills into law this legislative session.
