The American Hospital Association (AHA) Quest for Quality Prize is awarded to hospitals and health systems that demonstrate exceptional leadership and innovation in improving quality and advancing health. Applicants should focus on providing access to high-quality, safe, and patient- and family-centered care, collaborating with community organizations to improve community health and address disparities, and creating new and innovative models of care.
The AHA Quest for Quality Prize will recognize one winner, up to two finalists, and up to two Citation of Merit recipients. The AHA encourages hospitals and health systems that are working towards providing exceptional care based on the National Academy of Medicine’s six health aims (safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and patient-centered care) to apply for the 2025 AHA Quest for Quality Prize. Up to five organizations will be honored at the 2025 AHA Leadership Summit in Nashville. Applications must be submitted by midnight Central Time, Friday, Sept. 13, 2024.
