Michele Snyders featured in Health on the Map Podcast

Listen along as President Marc Long of Mount Marty University talks with Michelle Snyders, hospice and palliative care program manager for the South Dakota Association of Healthcare Organizations (SDAHO), about the differences between palliative care and hospice care, the challenges of providing palliative care to patients and what is being done to improve availability, and the impacts of palliative care on the patient as well as the healthcare setting itself.
Health on the Map, a new podcast from Mount Marty University, recently launched with an episode expected to be released at least once a month. The University’s president, Dr. Marc Long, is the host of the program, with providers, policymakers, educators, and students to uncover the gaps, challenges, and opportunities rural communities face.
