The South Dakota Association of Healthcare Organizations will hold their quarterly Communication Exchange meeting on October 7, 2024, at 12pm CT /11am MT.
This past year the SDAHO Communication Department implemented quarterly communication meetings to assist member facilities and their staff who specialize in marketing, public relations, communications and media. SDAHO can provide resources, networking and up-to-date trends through these virtual 1-hour meetings.
Attendees are able to connect and hear from others in the industry, share best practices, exchange information, and stay on top of newsworthy topics related to healthcare. In addition, the meetings also include updates on system wide messaging and current or upcoming SD Department of Health campaigns to be aware of.
Special Guests:
Members have requested hearing from special guests in the industry during the quarterly meetings. In July, Amy Lee with the American Hospital Associations Communication Team joined to address the latest efforts by AHA, including:
- Public Perception
- Tell the Hospital Story Campaign
- Best Practices for Story Telling
- Coalition Messaging
- Driving Positive Content
Our next meeting will feature representatives from 9Clouds focusing on social media risks in health care and managing a digital media campaign.
