SDAHO’s Lindsay Stroman becomes South Dakota’s only Certified Workforce Development Professional

The South Dakota Association of Healthcare Organizations, Workforce Development Coordinator, Lindsay Stroman recently earned her Certified Workforce Development Professional (CWDP) Certification. This certification indicates that Stroman meets all standards set by her peers and demonstrates a commitment to herself, her career and profession.

Stroman is the only individual in South Dakota to have a CWDP Certification. In addition, Stroman has been selected to participate in the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals (NAWDP) Leadership Academy. This prestigious program, offered in partnership with the University of Georgia’s J.W. Fanning Institute for Leadership Development, is designed to equip leaders with the skills, knowledge, and strategies needed to drive meaningful transformation within the workforce development sector. Stroman says, “Out of a highly competitive pool of applicants from across the entire nation, only 25 participants were chosen for this cohort, I am honored to be one of them. Through this program, I will engage in collaborative learning, innovative research, and hands-on application to strengthen my leadership capabilities and professional impact.”  Upon completion, Stroman will earn a Certificate from the University of Georgia’s J.W. Fanning Institute for Leadership Development and the Certified Workforce Development Leader (CWDL) certification from NAWDP.
