Culture Change series for Long-Term Care

Culture change is more than a shift in policy—it’s a movement aimed at transforming traditional, institutional long-term care facilities into true homes. This process encompasses a change in environment, systems, and attitudes. It’s a transformation that is not just visible, but also deeply felt. Residents experience it as they take charge of their own lives, while staff feel empowered to support this autonomy.

At SDAHO, we are excited to support this transformation by hosting Carmen Bowman, a consultant, educator, trainer, author, and the owner of Edu-Catering: Catering Education for Compliance and Culture Change. After transitioning from her role as a regulator to an educator, Carmen will lead a series of monthly sessions dedicated to topics that focus on culture change in long-term care settings.

Carmen will address key issues around culture change, compliance, and empowering both staff and residents. Don’t miss these valuable opportunities to learn, grow, and make a real difference in your community.
