South Dakota Health Link announces 2025 Fall Forum virtual sessions

South Dakota’s health information exchange, Health Link, is excited to announce that this year’s Fall Forum will be held in a new virtual format.

“This year, our Health Link team is offering a series of three virtual sessions designed to provide focused updates and demonstrations of our Health Insights analytic tools,” said Department of Health Secretary Melissa Magstadt. “These sessions allow us to share important Health Link updates while showcasing tools that support healthcare providers and improve outcomes for South Dakotans.”

Session Highlights
Each session will feature:

  • Updates from the Health Link team, including progress on technology enhancements
  • New members and other program highlights
  • Health Insights Analytics Showcase, featuring:
    • Cross-Hospital Patient Movement Tracking
    • Predictive Analytics for Readmission Risk
    • Maternal Health Access and Outcomes in Hospital Desert Areas

Participants can choose the session that best fits their schedule:

  • Thursday, October 23 | 1:00 – 2:00 PM CT
  • Thursday, October 30 | 12:00 – 1:00 PM CT
  • Thursday, November 6 | 10:00 – 11:00 AM CT
