The Department of Social Services (DSS) Division of Behavioral Health announced the launch of a new website, SDBehavioralHealthCareers.sd.gov. This site was an initiative developed in response to the findings and recommendations from the recent landscape analysis of South Dakota’s behavioral health workforce.
The website is designed for both current professionals and those considering a career in the behavioral health field. It offers:
- An overview of behavioral health occupations, career pathways, and licensing requirements
- Information on education programs available in South Dakota
- Access to the workforce landscape analysis report and initiatives
- Student loan repayment options, scholarships, and grant opportunities
- Resources for professional development
- An educational career flyer available for download or to order
- A behavioral health workforce newsletter
- And more!
