The Access to Mental Health Services Interim Study Committee will take a tour of the Human Services Center in Yankton, SD before holding its second interim meeting on Aug. 7 in Sioux Falls.
The agenda includes presentations from Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE), Sioux Falls Police Department, Minnehaha County Sheriff, Minnehaha County State’s Attorney, Southeastern Behavioral Healthcare, Minnehaha County Board of Mental Illness, Lincoln County Board of Mental Illness, SD National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), Helpline Center, Lutheran Social Services of South Dakota and Catholic Family Services. Public testimony will be taken on the afternoon of Aug. 7.
