The Community Healthcare Association of the Dakotas (CHAD) is hosting a two-day Addiction Medicine training event at the Clubhouse hotel and suites in Sioux Falls January 10 and 11. This training is designed to expand health centers’ delivery of addiction medicine services.
Day one will cover implementing office-based opioid treatment programs, including waiver qualifying requirements for providers and existing staff. Day one training is provided by the American Society of Addiction Medicine. Day two will focus on integration of addiction medicine into primary care and behavioral health services. Day two training is provided by Cherokee Health Systems. Dr. Suzanne Bailey and Dr. Mark McGrail will be presenting.
