On May 3, Tim Rave, President of South Dakota Association of Health Care Organizations, moderated a discussion between US Senator Rounds, US Senator Alexander, Chairman of the Health Education Labor and Pension (HELP) Committee and South Dakota Hospital and Post-Acute facility CEOs.
Topics of conversation centered around 340B, Indian Health Services, how to lower health care cost, incentivazations for patient care and how the Senators can work with the Administration to make health care better.
This was a unique opportunity for member CEOs and system policy leaders to have an open dialogue with the chairman of the Senate HELP Committee about the challenges facing healthcare today, and the opportunities for addressing gaps and access to coverage.
For over an hour and half CEOs and policy leaders had a very interactive and robust discussion with Sen. Rounds and the Chairman.
